The Mount Zion College of Nursing has well equipped spacious classroom with comfortable seating arrangements. Each classroom is equipped with blackboard, OHPS, LCD and public address system.

Library is extensive well ventilated and spacious with comfortable seating arrangements. There is a full time qualified and well expect Liberian who manages the library. There is a separate journal section. Our library is computerized too, providing e - library with internet.
tudents are having opportunity to have their clinical practice at Government medical College hospital Pudukkottai, community field and other affiliated hospitals.
Government medical College hospital, Pudukkottai is a leading state of the Multi speciality hospital with 1700 bedded with 26 speciality departments offering expert patient care.
Students are also given permission to practice clinical skill in Ranee’s maternity and female reproductive hospital Pudukkottai for obstetrical and gynaecolocal nursing. For Mental health nursing the students are getting exposure in Athma Mind care hospital, Trichy. For Oncology Harshamitra hospital Trichy and Government PHC for community health nursing and obstetrical and gynaecolocal nursing .
College of Nursing students are given opportunity to participate in the Immunization programmes, school health programmes, home visit, MCH programmes, street play, puppet show, role play, projects, health talk, mass health programmes, nutritional assessment and demonstration are carried out in areas attached to both rural and urban health centres.
The student nurses hostel is situated in the residential area of Mount Zion College campus with good ventilation. The hostel is clean and comfortable and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study.
Students are encouraged to involve in sports activities everyday at 5 – 6pm. there is an exclusive physical education trainer encourages and coaches thethe month of February. Addition to this, they are encouraged to participate in Inter college sports competition.
The sports facilities includes outdoor games like Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Tennis, Shuttle, Badminton and indoor games like Chess, Table tennis and Carom.
There is also a spacious playground for athlete and field events like Running, Shot Put, Javelin and Disc Throw
College of Nursing has adequate transport facilities for the clinical and community out reach programmes. Adequate transport facilities are available in the routes of Alangudi, Pattukottai, Pudukkottai, Aranthangi, Karambakkudi, Karaikkudi, Devakkottai, Illuppur, Ponnamaravathi and etc...
Post office facility is also available in front of our college campus itself. Actually we arrange this facility for the students to promote the money & letter transaction with their parents.
Mount Zion institution has a TMB ATM in front of our campus. Moreover assistance provided to the students for availing educational loan

STUDENTS ADVOCACY LEADERSHIP TRAINING
PROGRAM “SALT-2.0”
Mount Zion College of Nursing had the distinct honor of hosting the Student Advocacy and Leadership Training (S.A.L.T.) for Zone 11, in collaboration with TNAI – Tamil Nadu State Branch!
The day was filled with inspiration, knowledge, and camaraderie as student leaders from 21 institutions came together to explore the power of effective communication, teamwork, time management, and resilience. Esteemed speakers shared invaluable insights that will shape our students’ journeys as future healthcare leaders.
ACADEMIC PROGRAM
The academic year commenced in October 2023 with an intake of 50 students. The students were given an orientation about the college campus, along with a comprehensive introduction to the course and its requirements.
In November 2023, the students celebrated their Fresher’s Day, during which they were named “Radiant Rubies” by the chairperson. The day became more vibrant as their seniors, “Emeralds,” gave them a warm welcome into the “Mount Zion Family.”
The 15th batch of students participated in their Lamp Lighting Ceremony in January 2024. During this solemn event, they lit their lamps as a symbol of their dedication to the noble profession of nursing in the presence of dignitaries, pioneers, and their proud parents. It was truly a blessed and memorable occasion.
For their clinical training, the students gained practical experience at Government Medical College Hospital, Pudukkottai, where they were guided efficiently by faculty members to learn the fundamental principles of nursing.

The student’s prepared delicious food in various groups, which helped them better understand calorie values, Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA), and, most importantly, the nutritional needs of patients.
The students showcased their exceptional talents in both co-curricular and extracurricular activities, which was truly commendable.
