Lamp Lighting Ceremony

The Lamp Lighting Ceremony for the first-year batch (2024-2028) will take place on 29th January 2025. This significant event symbolizes the beginning of their professional journey into nursing, instilling the values of service, responsibility, and dignity that the profession upholds.

b.      Celebrations

Pongal Celebration

On 10th January 2025, Mount Zion College of Nursing celebrated Pongal with traditional fervor. The event included cultural activities such as poetry, skits, and games, and the preparation of Pongal by faculty and students. The occasion was graced by Mrs. Florence Jeyabarathan and Dr. Jayson K. Jeyabarathan, who inspired students with their presence and insights.

Christmas Celebration

The college celebrated Christmas on 19th December 2024 with the theme “We Are His Children.” The event featured heartfelt performances, including special songs, skits, and inspiring messages from students and staff.

Founders’ Day

On 17th December 2024, we commemorated the life and vision of our founder, Mr. Jeyabarathan Chelliah, by organizing a heartwarming event with children from Christhu King Home for Children, fostering a spirit of community and compassion.
